Stephanie A Lee, PsyD
Stephanie A Lee, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist with more than 15 years of experience helping children and families through individual, group and family services in NY, NJ and Maryland. She has extensive experience providing presentations, trainings and consultation across the country and internationally. She’s also contributed to a plethora of local and national media efforts to destigmatize and disseminate information about children’s mental health. Dr. Lee is warm and effective with a strong foundation in evidenced based behavioral and cognitive behavioral treatments (CBT) for both internalizing and externalizing concerns. She is a seasoned therapist specializing in ADHD, anxiety, autism and related behavioral issues. Dr. Lee is empathetic and realistic when providing parent coaching and support, her work with children and teens is thoughtful and strategic. She’s successfully assisted hundreds of caregivers with toileting, feeding (picky eating) and tantrum concerns. She’s also worked effectively with parents of oppositional children and teens to decrease family conflict and improve communication. Her work is strength based and data driven. Dr. Lee is passionate about combining her esteemed training and experience with a sense of humor to develop practical and sustainable change. Dr. Lee graduated from Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She completed clinical internship and two years of postdoctoral training within the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) track at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and a within agency trainer. Before developing her own practice, Dr. Lee was the Director of Clinical Services for the Behavior Management Clinic within the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Senior Director of the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute.
