Within the life of an ABA professional few things are universal. With different educational backgrounds, areas of professional interest and geographical location, no two ABA professionals possess identical learning histories. The purpose of the supervision experience should be to train future generations of behavior analysts to engage in high quality service delivery; however, for far too long some have implemented a one-size fits all approach. Individualized interventions are the cornerstone of our science; so why is this same approach not taken within the supervision experience? Supervision (absent cultural humility) cannot prepare the next generation of behavior analysts to face the growing needs of service recipients. The infusion of culturally humility into the supervision experience will benefit the field of ABA for generations to come.

About the Presenter
I absolutely loved this training. I have so many things to take back to my organization to enhance what we already have in place!
A very relevant course in this day and age of cultural diversity - addresses the elephant in the room with a practical approach and a broad overview to help start the discussions that are long overdue in our field.
I thoroughly enjoyed this CEU, because this topic is not only of extreme relevance, but the information presented contains information that is crucial for clinicians, families, and, really, anyone. I love the fact that we, as a field, are normalizing these types of discussions that were once considered "taboo". I am looking forward to more CEUs like these.
Loved the speaker and the topic. Learned al lot and want to keep learning ways to practice cultural humility. I am so excited that this kind of training is now available! THANK YOU!
Would love to have you speak at our company.
I found this a really useful presentation, it was well aimed at practical step by step how to identify your own biases, how to support understanding someone else's. For me, I loved that he did not ignore that prejudice is experienced. People who say 'I don't see colour' are actually negating that we are 'different colours' making us all the same is not actually respectful. Rather than I don't see colour, I DO see colour, we are different, all COLOURS are equally valid - i.e. different is not LESS in either direction. He managed to be brutally honest, without blame or self-pity, a remarkable feat! Which therefore offered a useful presentation which successfully opens dialogue rather than shutting people down. I would like to sincerely say thank you.
The presenter seems knowledgable and passionate. However, as a learner I prefer tangible examples and strategies to improve. There were very few real life examples or strategies that I could use in practice.
I thought Sean did an excellent job with the course. I confess I rarely bother to add positive feedback but I thought he deserved it.
Please have Shawn Capell back to present again-- excellent! His insight was greatly appreciated.
