About the Presenter
Thank you, very informative got to learn some of the practical application aspects of NDBI, although I will need a full fledged course on it to practice but still I can incorporate some of it in my practice.
I have learned so much from these two presenters. Very knowledgeable, thoughtful and passionate. What a blessing they are to all who they serve. Thank you!
Course was educational in behavior management.
This is a well-presented training. It is a good reminder for educators, therapists .. etc., that child development plays an important role in the implementation of social development and communication skills.
I loved this course! It was so informative!
Attending the webinar training on practical applications of NDBIs has truly reinforced and validated the working patterns and strategies I have been employing in my role as an In-home support interventionist / family coach for autistic children. The knowledge and insights shared during the session have bolstered my confidence and reaffirmed the significance of the work I have been doing so far. By emphasizing the effectiveness of NDBIs, the training has provided me with a solid foundation to enhance my existing practices. It has equipped me with a deeper understanding of the rationale behind these interventions and the positive impact they can have on the lives of autistic children and their families. Overall, this training has been a valuable reinforcement of my existing working pattern, affirming the importance of my role in facilitating a better quality of life for autistic children and their families.
I felt the traiing overall was good. I would have like to hear them differentiate more between NET, incidental teaching and NDBI. Just saying "child development" did not show me how it was different. The strategies used and talked about I have been using for over 20 years in naturalistic teachings or NET. If the only difference is using the identical strategies but with a " child development focus" is it really different? I can see someone new getting a lot out of this but as someone in the field for a long time learned this a long time ago.
Excellent training. Use of videos, the presenters’ delivery and expertise resulted in a meaningful experience that is both valuable and easily to implement across environments.
As an OT practitioner I found NDBI to be an excellent addition to my toolbox. I have always practiced using a development model while struggling to manage intense behaviors of younger clients with Autism. This is a much needed, practical combination of both theories!
NDBIs have been written off by many, but they are essential to providing a high quality intervention.
