About the Presenter
Laura really knows her stuff! I love the included videos to really demonstrate what this looks like in various age-groups and with various students.
It is quite an interesting topic about restorative practices and circle time. Hopefully, other schools will appreciate the introduction of restorative practice too, and include it in the LAW about the School system. Restorative practice can be very applicable to problem-solving, de-escalating issues, and also emphasizing the keynote of LISTENING to others rather than telling them what to do. Thank you for this module.
Some video clips are not audible.
the topic is beneficial to me as a clinician. Insightful and informative.
I really loved this course, particularly because she gave examples from her work and offered videos of how these practices look in the classroom.
Dr. Laura: What an amazing training. I learned so much from you. Today I went and supported a teacher as she implemented opening circle in her classroom to build community. The children loved it! Thank you!
