An RBT is a nationally recognized paraprofessional who practices ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Learners have up to 180 days from enrollment to complete the training modules and earn their certificate. If you are not able to complete your course within the 180 days, please contact us at Here to ask for assistance.

No. Completing the training alone does not make you an RBT. You must also pass the BACB competency assessment with a qualified supervisor, receive an attestation from your supervisor, and pass the RBT exam through the BACB.

Yes. This training program is designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification. This training is offered independent of the BACB.

Yes, you can work through modules on your own schedule. Progress is saved automatically.

You must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to secure a qualified supervisor for the competency assessment.

Most learners finish in 4–6 weeks, but you are allowed take up to 180 days. You are not allowed to complete the course in fewer than 5 days. Your progress will be managed ensure that your training is accepted by the BACB.

RBT 3.0 pricing starts at $79. Discounts are available for bulk purchases by organizations.

Your supervisor (BCBA or BCaBA) administers this after you finish training. The course prepares you for success.

After training and assessment, you will apply to become an RBT through the BACB. Please see their site for details.
